Tottenham fans react as Bayern Munich reportedly make first move for Nagelsmann
Tottenham fans have taken to social media following last night’s news that Bayern Munich have reportedly made a big step forward in the race to sign RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann.
The Independent report that the Bavarian superclub have opened talks with the 33-year-old coach, and that Leipzig would be open to allowing Nagelsmann to leave for their Bundesliga rivals if Bayern are able to pay a severance package to the east German side, who in the past few years have been Munich’s closest domestic rivals.
As reported by The Telegraph, Nagelsmann has been on Tottenham’s list of managerial targets for quite some time, and following the sacking of Jose Mourinho last week, there was hope amongst fans that the German would succeed the former Manchester United and Chelsea boss at the club, but this latest news has not been well received by Spurs supporters on social media.
Here’s what some Tottenham fans had to say about this latest update on Nagelsmann on Twitter…
