Bayern Munich have reportedly entered the race to sign Norwich City right-back Max Aarons this summer amid links with Tottenham Hotspur – and Spurs fans have reacted to Bayern’s interest on Twitter.
Aarons, 20, has been a regular part of Norwich’s side this season – clocking up 40 appearances in all competitions. But with Norwich relegated from the Premier League, England Under-21 star Aarons is expected to depart.
The Daily Mail claimed back in January that Tottenham were rivalling other Premier League clubs, such as Arsenal, in the race to sign Aarons. It was believed that a fee of £30million would be expected for Norwich to accept.

But Sky Germany have now claimed that Aarons is a target for both Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen. It is believed that Aarons, who has 83 senior Norwich appearances to his name, is now rated at just £18million.
Bayern are believed to want to sign Aarons as a replacement for Benjamin Pavard, who remains the club’s first-choice option on the right side of the defence. It remains to be seen if Aarons would start for Leverkusen.
Many Tottenham fans, who have pleaded with their club to sign Aarons on social media over the past few months, reacted to the news that Bayern were keen – and while some were not bothered, others were frustrated.
