Tottenham fans react as Atletico Madrid attacker linked in swap deal
Tottenham Hotspur could end up with Atletico Madrid attacker Angel Correa as talks reportedly continue over Atleti’s move for Kieran Trippier – and Tottenham fans have reacted on Twitter.
Sky Sports claim Atletico Madrid are set to complete the signing of 28-year-old Trippier this summer, with the England defender travelling to Spain on Wednesday with a medical scheduled.
It is believed Diego Simeone’s side are to spend £23million to land the former Burnley and Manchester City defender, who has endured a difficult season at Spurs following the highs of the 2018 World Cup.

As part of the deal, Sky claim that Correa has been offered to Spurs. Instead of a swap, it is deemed that Tottenham have been given the chance to land the Argentina international – who is ‘well known’ to Mauricio Pochettino.
Correa, 24, is able to play both out wide and up front, and clocked up 45 appearances in all competitions for the Spanish club last season. Most of his outings, though, came from out wide.
Tottenham fans have reacted to the news that Correa could be on his way to Spurs this summer, though there is said to be plenty of interest in his signature. The majority of Spurs fans believe Correa would be a good signing.
He’s a decent forward

Correa makes a lot of sense. Dybala-esque foward that can play striker, No.10 and out wide. His versatility adds depth to a lot of key areas and provides competition for our whole foward line. Kills a lot of birds with one stone. #THFC #COYS

Talking about the #Trippier deal… I'd be very interested in bringing in #Correa as part of the move. We need more attacking threat, and he's pretty decent. I hope it's true that he's been offered to us. #COYS #THFC
