Youri Tielemans has told Sky Sports that he is “flattered” to be linked with moves to Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United – and Spurs fans have reacted by urging their club to land the Belgian midfielder.
Sky Sports have recently claimed that the 22-year-old is a target for both Spurs and Manchester United this summer, after an excellent loan spell at Leicester City under Brendan Rodgers.
In 13 Premier League appearances, the AS Monaco midfielder had a hand in eight goals – scoring three himself and creating five more. Tielemans even scored in a 3-0 win over Arsenal.

Asked by Sky Sports about Tottenham and Manchester United’s interest, the midfielder reacted by stating that he is flattered to be linked with a move to both clubs. He has a contract at Monaco until the summer of 2022.
“Yes [I am flattered by Man Utd and Spurs interest], they are really big teams in England and in Europe. To hear those names gives me confidence. I just try to play my game on the pitch and try my best,” Tielemans said.
The Sun have claimed that Tielemans is worth a whopping £40million following his spell at Leicester, which would make him Spurs’ second most-expensive signing in their history – behind Davinson Sanchez.
Tottenham fans have reacted on Twitter to Tielemans’ comments of being flattered with a move to Tottenham, and many have now urged their club to sign him this summer.
