‘Deserved it today’: Tottenham fans laud Sergio Reguilon for Leeds display

Tottenham managed to see off Leeds United this afternoon as they came from behind to take the three points in North London.

Things looked to be going wrong for Antonio Conte after a woeful first half but in the second 45, Spurs turned the screw and were rewarded for their pressure. Goals from Pierre Hojbjerg and Sergio Reguilon ensured Tottenham got their first three points under Conte.

For Conte, there is obviously plenty to work on. However, there were a number of good performances in the Spurs XI, not least from the scorer of the second goal, Reguilon.

The Spanish left-back was everything that Conte wants him to be in the second period. He attacked well and got his goal, while he also showed he was capable defensively as well.

Twitter, then, was full of comments from Tottenham fans who were quick to praise the performance of Reguilon against Leeds.
