Tottenham booked their spot in the Carabao Cup semi-finals with a 3-1 victory over Stoke City on Wednesday evening – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter praised Moussa Sissoko for his performance off the bench.
Spurs recorded a professional win away to Championship opposition Stoke, with goals from Gareth Bale, Ben Davies and Harry Kane for the visitors.
Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho is targeting silverware with Spurs this season and the League Cup is a competition he’s got a great history with, previously winning it on four occasions with Chelsea (three) and Manchester United.
The North London club will now turn their attention back on the Premier League where they sit sixth in the table, despite the fact they were at the top a couple of fixtures ago.

A selection of Spurs supporters on social media felt that Sissoko deserved a mention for his contribution off the bench.
The 31-year-old central midfielder entered the action midway through the second-half when the game was tied and helped to inspire the victory, providing a perfectly weighted assist for Kane.
He was deployed in a wide right role by Mourinho off the bench and does give his team great physicality, energy and directness when he features, even if he’s not the most technically gifted.
