Tottenham fans praise Juan Foyth after performance against Huddersfield

Juan Foyth was recalled to the Tottenham team on Saturday for the win over Huddersfield Town – and some of the fans on Twitter were blown away by his performance.

Spurs cruised past Huddersfield 4-0 at their new stadium in the Premier League and moved up to third in the table.

There were seven changes to the team due to the upcoming Champions League clash with Manchester City, but Lucas Moura stepped in and smashed a brilliant hat-trick.

Meanwhile, central midfielder Victor Wanyama also scored the opener on his return and the North London club were dominant against a team that have already be relegated from the top flight.

A selection of Spurs fans discussed the display of Foyth following his 12th appearance of the season and believe he looked very assured.

The 21-year-old wasn’t questioned too much defensively at the weekend, but it was his composure on the ball and his range of passing that caught the eye.

He’s had a mixed bag so far in the first team, but the Argentina international is still so young and definitely has the potential to become a future star for Spurs as he develops.
