Tottenham fans pour praise on Son after outstanding performance in Everton win
For much of the season, the Premier League title race has been discussed as a two-way fight between reigning champions Manchester City and table-toppers Liverpool.
But after City’s shock 3-2 defeat against Crystal Palace on Saturday and Tottenham’s 6-2 thumping of Everton yesterday, Mauricio Pochettino’s side are just two points behind Pep Guardiola’s men.
That is an outstanding achievement given the disparity in spending power between the two clubs and yesterday’s result was yet another statement of Spurs’ intent.

After slipping behind to Theo Walcott’s opening goal, Tottenham found another gear and Son Heung-min was integral to everything good about their attacking play.
Everton had no answer to the South Korean’s pace and energy and two goals were just reward for a man of the match performance to tee up Tottenham’s festive period wonderfully.
Tottenham fans were very keen to show their appreciation for a player who still feels underrated in Premier League terms, and we’ve put together some of the best reaction…
So Humble, always praises his teammates immediately, absolutely love our Sonny #COYS
