Tottenham face Dinamo Zagreb on Thursday in the Europa League – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter have urged their manager Jose Mourinho to recall youngster Japhet Tanganga.
Tanganga, who is a product of the Spurs academy, has played in just nine first-team games across all competitions this season.
The 21-year-old is regarded as a massive talent at Hotspur Way, who has electric pace.
He is a versatile defender that is at his best at centre-back, but has been granted some senior opportunities in a right-back position.
The England Under-21 hasn’t featured though for the last six games across all competitions though since starting against West Ham on 21 February.
Mourinho’s side are currently preparing for a huge game this week in the Europa League against Croatian opposition Zagreb.
Spurs hold a 2-0 league on aggregate from the first leg at home, and will be trying to finish the job on Thursday in the Europa League last-16 second leg tie.

A selection of Spurs supporters on social media have made it clear they want Tanganga recalled to the XI.
The powerhouse defender hasn’t had a lot of football lately, but doesn’t look out of place when drafted into the side.
Here are some Spurs fans asking for Tanganga:
