Tottenham fans lose the plot as Mauricio Pochettino is linked with shock return

Tottenham have been linked with a shock move for former manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Football.london and the Athletic report that Spurs have held talks with the PSG manager over a potential return. Pochettino was sacked by Daniel Levy in November 2019. His successor, Jose Mourinho, was dismissed last month.

Pochettino remains one of the most popular Tottenham managers in recent memory. The Argentine manager managed the north London side to consecutive UEFA Champions League finishes in the Premier League.

The PSG boss also led Tottenham to the 2019 Champions League final. However, Spurs lost to Liverpool in Madrid 2-0.

Levy’s search for a new manager has taken plenty of twists and turns, yet this is the most dramatic update so far. And for Tottenham supporters on Twitter, they were in meltdown over the news.

As per the Athletic report, PSG are not keen on allowing Pochettino to leave. The Argentine joined the club midway through the season.
