Tottenham Hotspur’s under-23s were beaten by Brighton and Hove Albion last night in Premier League 2 action.
Spurs lost 2-1 to the Seagulls, with Wayne Burnett fielding an extremely young side.
Brighton took the lead in the seventh minute when Peter Gwargis scored.

The advantage didn’t last long, however, with Malachi Fagan-Walcott restoring parity for the home side.
Brighton weren’t to be denied victory, however, and just two minutes after the break Warren O’Hora netted what would prove to be a winning goal.
It was the performance of goalscoring centre-back Fagan-Walcott which caught the eye among Tottenham supporters.
The 17-year-old scored a thumping header from a set-piece to level the contest and his performance, on the whole, was solid.
Despite his tender years, the youngster looks to have the attributes to go a long way in football and Tottenham will hope his progression continues.

Fagan-Walcott has played eight matches the under-23s, whilst he has also featured for the under-19s in the UEFA Youth League this season.
A versatile performer, the teenager can also operate as a holding midfielder.
