Adama Traore starred for Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday afternoon as his side came close to getting something from their clash with Tottenham Hotspur – and Spurs fans have reacted to the Spaniard’s display on Twitter.
Jan Vertonghen scoreed a late winner which saw Spurs beat Wolves 2-1 at Molineux, which was Tottenham’s second away Premier League win under Jose Mourinho – after such a long run without winning away from home in the league.
Lucas Moura had put Spurs ahead in the first half with a blistering effort that flew past Rui Patricio into the roof of the net, but Traore equalised in the second half with a powerful shot from the edge of the box – leaving Paulo Gazzaniga with no chance.

Wolves signed Traore from Middlesbrough in the summer of 2018 for a fee of £18million (BBC), after meeting a release clause in the former Barcelona winger’s contract. This season, Traore has finally started to realise his enormous potential.
Indeed, the powerful star scored a brace against Manchester City earlier in the season, and is beginning to add a final product to his excellent dribbling and speed. He has had a hand in 10 goals during his 26 league and cup appearances.
Tottenham fans watched on as Traore impressed for Wolves on Sunday afternoon, and many Spurs supporters are desperate for their club to sign Traore ahead of the January transfer window.
