Tottenham fans hail Sergio Reguilon despite 1-1 draw against Fulham
Tottenham were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Fulham in midweek – but some of the club’s fans on Twitter were majorly impressed with the performance of their defender Sergio Reguilon.
Spurs picked up one point on Wednesday night from their Premier League fixture at home to Fulham.
Harry Kane’s bullet header put the hosts in the driving seat midway through the first-half, but opponents Fulham looked the better side in the second period and got a well-deserved equaliser through Ivan Cavaleiro’s header.
Jose Mourinho’s side missed the chance to climb into the top four of the league and next they travel to bottom of the table Sheffield United this weekend.

Despite dropping two points against Fulham, a selection of Spurs supporters on social media believe that Reguilon impressed in their starting XI.
The 24-year-old left-back provided a stunning assist with his wicked cross into Kane’s path, which takes his assist tally up to five for the season in all competitions.
He has majorly impressed as an attack-minded full-back since he joined in the summer from La Liga giants Real Madrid and he looked a dangerous against Fulham in the final third.
The Spaniard had a late goal ruled out for an offside in the build-up and ultimately the Spurs defence failed to keep a clean sheet.
Here are some Spurs fans discussing Reguilon:
In more positive news Reguilon was absolutely superb today.
He can easily sort out our LB problem for years to come hopefully.
Fantastic player.
