Tottenham earned a narrow 1-0 win over Chelsea on Tuesday night in the Carabao Cup – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter praised Harry Kane for his performance.
Spurs now hold the slight advantage in the Carabao Cup after a tight victory in the first leg at Wembley.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side had to defend well for large spells and they will head to Stamford Bridge with a one-goal advantage after Kane’s effort from the penalty.
The North London club earned their penalty in the first-half after goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga clipped the Spurs striker, who then tucked the resulting penalty into the bottom corner.

It was mainly about Spurs’ resilient defence that secured the win in the cup, but Kane once again proved his quality in the final third.
The 25-year-old dropped deeper to show off his excellent range of passing and battle against the Chelsea centre-backs.
He has now scored 20 goals across all competitions this season in 30 matches and is continuing his fine recent form.
A selection of Spurs fans on social media were blown away by Kane after his display and feel he was one of the outstanding players.
