Tottenham fans hail Kane's two-goal performance in thrashing of Everton
In a week where the speculation around Mauricio Pochettino’s future ramped up, Tottenham responded with two fantastic away victories.
On Wednesday, they took revenge on Arsenal with a 2-0 EFL Cup north London derby win at the Emirates Stadium, before dismantling Everton yesterday.
Going behind to a goal by former Gunners winger Theo Walcott only served to spark Spurs into life as they came back to thump Marco Silva’s side 6-2.

Harry Kane and Son Heung-min grabbed two goals apiece and were joined on the scoresheet by Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen, who netted the goal of the afternoon with a stunning strike from outside the box.
There were stellar performances all over the pitch but Kane’s display earned plenty of love from Spurs supporters who now see their side just two points behind Manchester City going into the festive period.
That is an outstanding achievement given the two clubs’ respective spending power and the England captain’s goals will be vital if Spurs are to maintain or even improve that position.
The love the fans have for Kane is clear and we’ve picked out some of the best reaction in the aftermath of yesterday’s thumping win…
Cheers Harry, you and the lads have given us the best Christmas present, what a fantastic performance. Merry Christmas to you and your family. COYS
