Tottenham fans go wild for training ground clip of their 24-year-old

Tottenham’s Tanguy Ndombele has been videoed producing some mesmerising skill on the training ground – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter are wowed by the footage.

Ndombele, 24, is a box-to-box central midfielder who’s enjoying a much better second season with Spurs than a stop-start first one.

The Frenchman managed to gain the faith of manager Jose Mourinho to become a regular in the XI. He’s weighed in with six goals and four assists in 40 games across all competitions this season.

Aside from the dynamic attacking duo of Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son, you could stick Ndombele’s name right into the conversation for best performing Spurs player this year.

It’s obvious his game needs to become more consistent, but he’s a supreme talent.

A Thursday training clip showed him flicking the ball over two teammates in a drill, and he’s one of the players in the Premier League brave enough to attempt something like it in an actual game.

This season would end up being a poor one if Spurs lose the Carabao Cup final to Manchester City and miss out on the top four, but it’s worth remembering they do still have a quality core group of players that just needs some adding to in the summer.

Here are some Spurs fans left amazed by the Ndombele clip:
