Tottenham fans furious with ‘liability’ Kieran Trippier after Wolves loss
Kieran Trippier completed 90 minutes in the Premier League defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers – and some Tottenham fans on Twitter crushed him for his performance.
The 28-year-old defender was recalled to the side by manager Mauricio Pochettino on Saturday and massively let him down with a below par display.
Spurs led through Harry Kane’s first-half strike from distance, but a quality comeback in the second-half saw Wolves do enough to win the Premier League match 3-1.
The North London club were abysmal in possession during the league fixture and it was a real surprise after going into the contest in excellent form.

Trippier was one of the poorest players on the park at Wembley and couldn’t find his passing range.
The England international should be particularly disappointed with a second-half display that saw his errors lead to Wolves goals, with some real sloppy moments on the ball.
His recall to the side was no surprise due to the fact he’s a senior player at the club, but it seemed harsh on promising right-back Kyle Walker-Peters to be dropped after he assisted three goals in a 5-0 win over Bournemouth in the previous match.
Here are some Spurs fans criticising full-back Trippier for his latest efforts:
get Kieran Trippier and his godawful haircut out of my club please

BIG thing we need to change is Trippier, the kid can’t defend at all. Should have made more changes that game to #coys

Again, Trippier is a liability in a 4-4-2. I’ve said it all season. :( Just isn’t solid enough defending. Yes he can deliver a good ball. But he’s exposed constantly when he’s the 4th defender. #Spurs #coys #totwol #thfc

The day Trippier leaves the football club. What a day that will be.

Trippier has been poor this season though but our midfield looked so tired in that second half and no one on the bench at all..

Terminate Trippier’s contract

Don’t want to see Trippier again this season, he was an absolute embarrassment today. Surely that puts to bed any thought of not strengthening in January, squad isn’t strong enough to cope when we get injuries. #THFC
