Tottenham fans fuming that Moussa Sissoko could reportedly be sold

Moussa Sissoko was a surprise inclusion in a list of 12 Tottenham Hotspur players that could reportedly leave the club in the summer – and Spurs fans are fuming.

The Evening Standard have claimed that Vincent Janssen, Fernando Llorente, Kieran Trippier, Serge Aurier, Georges N’Koudou, Danny Rose, Victor Wanyama, Toby Alderweireld, Erik Lamela, Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertonghen are all on the firing list.

Vertonghen and Eriksen are set to enter their final 12 months, and they are the least likely to leave. Lamela and Sissoko will leave if satisfactory offers are made for the midfield duo.

Sissoko, 29, has reignited his spell at Tottenham. Joining the north Londoners in the summer of 2016, the France international has failed to live up to his £30million price tag paid to Newcastle.

But having been moved into the middle of the park, the ex-Toulouse star has shone. Indeed, he was man of the match against Crystal Palace during Spurs’ first game at the new stadium on Wednesday night.

Sissoko, who earns £80,000 a week at Spurs (Spotrac), is now loved by fans after a difficult first two seasons at the club. He has clocked up 36 appearances this season, and 117 in total for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Tottenham fans reacted to the news that Sissoko was on the hit list as Pochettino looks to reportedly conduct as mass exodus, and supporters are not impressed.
