Tottenham fans have been left flabbergasted once again after reports emerged on Friday to suggest both Heung-Min Son and Bryan Gil will miss this weekend’s clash with Newcastle.
Reports emerged on Friday to state that two Spurs players had tested positive for Covid-19 following the international break. And as the night continued, rumours on social media suggested that those players are indeed Gil and Son.
It means Nuno Santo faces a huge problem in attack now. Son has been the star player this season for the team. Gil, too, had just started to settle into a routine of getting minutes.

Reports from Sky Sports haven’t directly named Son and Gil as yet. However, the Evening Standard does not name either player in it’s starting XI and states that Son is not expected to play.
Naturally, Twitter was full of comments from Tottenham fans who were lamenting the news. After a tough start to the season, and with the Harry Kane situation lingering one, some Spurs fans feel they can’t catch a break.
Here, then, is what some Tottenham fans had to say about latest Covid outbreak in the camp.
