Christian Eriksen completed 90 minutes in the win over Huddersfield Town on Saturday – and some Tottenham fans slammed him for the quality of his performance.
Spurs recorded a comfortable 4-0 victory at home against already relegated Huddersfield, which meant they climbed up to third in the Premier League table.
Victor Wanyama opened the scoring in the 24th minute after taking the ball around the goalkeeper, before Lucas Moura added a second just moments later with a low driven finish.
Moura then scored two more late in the second-half to bag a hat-trick and impress on his return to the side.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino did make seven changes to his side, as the league fixture at the weekend is sandwiched in-between the Champions League quarter-finals legs with Manchester City.

Eriksen was one of four survivors in the starting XI from the 1-0 win over Manchester City in the first leg and was selected against Huddersfield.
The 27-year-old played as an attacking midfielder and was not given a rest.
He’s now managed an assist in all three games in the new stadium after he set up teammate Moura for his second goal with a cross into the box.
A selection of Spurs fans were highly critical of the Denmark international for his latest contribution despite his performances in recent weeks and his latest assist.
Some feel that the playmaker doesn’t quite look his normal self and were particularly frustrated with his output from set-pieces.
