Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly trailing Leicester City and Brendan Rodgers in the race to sign Southampton colossus Jannik Vestergaard. The Denmark international is out of contract at the end of the season. Leicester have made a bid, and Tottenham fans are showing frustration on Twitter.
Vestergaard, 29, has been regularly linked with a number of Premier League sides during this summer’s window. The Dane is likely to go below his value given his contract situation. His impressive performances helped Denmark reach the Euro 2020 semi-finals.

What are Tottenham fans saying as Leicester bid of Vestergaard?
The Athletic say Tottenham, Leicester, Wolves and West Ham are all keen on signing Vestergaard this summer. But it seems Leicester have stolen a march on their rivals, by tabling an offer of £15million to sign the ex-Gladbach centre-back. The bid has not yet been accepted by the Saints.
It is believe Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side want as much as £18million – but given the difference is small, it is unlikely that the two cannot find a compromise. Tottenham have signed Cristian Romero but are still in the market for a defender. Tottenham fans frustrated as Leicester close in on Vestergaard.
