Tottenham fans excited as Paratici readies agents in reported race for Tolisso

Tottenham chief Fabio Paratici has reportedly readied his agents over a move to sign Bayern star Corentin Tolisso – and Spurs fans have reacted.

Tolisso, 27, is expected to leave Bayern either on a pre-contract free transfer and leave Germany next summer – or on the cheap in the January window.

A report from Bild earlier this season said Bayern would be open to his permanent exit in January, for a bargain fee of just £8.5million.

But Tolisso is out of contract in the summer and non-German sides can get him for nothing on a pre-contract. It would see him signed in the summer.

A report from CalcioMercato say that Tottenham are one of four clubs that could potentially go after the France international, from Bayern.

Juventus, Jose Mourinho’s Roma and Atletico Madrid are also showing interest. But Paratici has looked to steal a march on his competitors.

Paratici is said to have activated agents to bring in Tolisso, but it is unclear whether Spurs will sign him in January – or wait until the summer.

Spurs could do with a midfielder. Harry Winks and Dele Alli were left out of the squad on Wednesday. Both could be looking at January to depart.

Tanguy Ndombele has been indifferent. With Spurs fighting on four fronts, more quality depth is required. Tolisso would certainly provide that.
