A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have been commenting on Twitter about the El Desmarque report suggesting Christian Eriksen has started to have doubts about his January move.

For a long time, Eriksen was deemed one of Tottenham’s best players, having clocked up 305 appearances for Spurs, scoring 69 goals and registering 89 assists according to Transfermarkt.

However, the Denmark international failed to have the same impact for Tottenham this season, with just three assists and three goals, amid constant speculation over his future.

In the end, Eriksen made the move to Inter Milan in January for a reported £16.9million move (Sky Sports), penning a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Serie A side.

Despite arriving at Inter to much fanfare, the 28-year-old hasn’t got off to the best start, with just one goal and one assist in eight games, starting only three of those.

As a result, El Desmarque speculates that Eriksen is starting to have doubts about joining Inter, wondering if he should have opted for a move to Real Madrid instead.
