Tottenham are reportedly concerned that Harry Kane may join a list of players wanting to leave – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have claimed they could understand if he wants to depart.

Spurs are in a delicate place after the 7-2 home defeat against Bayern Munich on Tuesday night in the Champions League stages, which adds to a fairly inconsistent start to the season.

There is already a group of key players entering the final year of their contracts an the North London club are entering a rocky period.

According to the Times, Spurs are worried that Kane is losing patience with the club and that he’s ambitious to win trophies.

The England captain is yet to win a piece of major silverware for Spurs, despite scoring 171 goals in 262 first-team appearances.

There is nothing concrete yet that Kane will be looking to push a move away from Spurs, but there is no doubt things have to improve from a poor start to the campaign.

Kane is one of only a handful of players right now that are playing at the level required for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

The 26-year-old has become one of the best goalscorers in European football during the last few years, which is even sweeter considering he came through the academy at Spurs.

He’s scored seven goals in nine games across all competitions this season and is extremely consistent, but a number of his teammates have dropped off the pace.

A selection of Spurs supporters on social media have remarkably explained they wouldn’t blame their star player if he wanted to jump ship to chase trophies at another club.
