Tottenham are reportedly interested in Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic – and the club’s supporters on Twitter appear split over whether he would be a good signing for them.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Spurs are in the race for the 30-year-old attacker ahead of the summer.
It is understood that Serie A giants Inter have set a £30million price tag on the winger, but Mauricio Pochettino’s side are prepared to pay around £21.5million.
Perisic is an experienced wide man with a wealth of know-how at the top level and is on the radar of the North London club.
He’s got 78 senior international caps under his belt for Croatia, while also playing for the likes of Inter, Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg in his career.
The left-winger has made 35 appearances across all competitions this season for Inter, scoring five goals and supplying seven assists in return.
Spurs currently do have a lack of genuine wingers in their squad, as the likes of Heung-Min Son and Erik Lamela often like to drift inside.
Perisic has never tested himself in the Premier League, but is a great crosser of the ball and usually a goal threat around the penalty area.
Here are Spurs fans on Twitter that are divided on the potential arrival of Perisic:
Quality player, would happily take him!

Seen a few rumours about perisic might very well be rubbish but thats a quality and experienced player we need can play out wide or up top, brilliant player and at a reduced price this summer

I note we still shop in the under £30M store
If we can get good value I applaud this frugality
