Tottenham fans dismiss speculation linking Steven Gerrard as Jose Mourinho replacement

Steven Gerrard has been named as a potential replacement for Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho – and supporters have been dismissing the links from 90min on social media.

Gerrard has been with Rangers for three seasons now and in the last couple of weeks has finally got his hands on a league title.

His team have romped to glory domestically and are yet to lose a game in the Scottish Premiership during 2020/21.

Naturally, he is now being linked with a switch to the Premier League; with plenty of people adamant he will end up managing Liverpool at some stage of his career.

Despite that, it would seem other clubs are monitoring his progress at Rangers too, with Tottenham in the mix it would seem.

Supporters don’t fancy that one bit though and have moved quickly to dismiss such an appointment taking place.
