Tottenham fans discuss Tanguy Ndombele after club tweet skill
Tanguy Ndombele is proving something of an enigma at Tottenham. His quality is there for all to say but since arriving in England, he’s perhaps struggled for a degree of consistency.
The French midfielder signed for Spurs in 2019, costing £53 million from Lyon. He has made 80 appearances for the club, scoring nine goals and claiming eight assists.
Ndombele wasn’t in the picture under Nuno Espirito Santo at the start of 2021/22. Now, he’s made three Premier League appearances though and looks to be back in favour.
The 24-year-old is seriously talented and the challenge for the manager is to get the best out of him. He has started the last three games and that does at least bode well.
With the international break upon us, Tottenham have been using some filler content to meet their social media requirements.
One video posted earlier today featured an outrageous piece of skill from last weekend’s 2-1 win over Aston Villa.
Ndombele left two Villa players for dead as he spun and advanced into the box, forcing a good save out of Emi Martinez in the end.
It was a quality moment and deserved a goal. It also left the Tottenham faithful purring at Ndombele and his quality.
What have Tottenham fans said about Ndombele?
