Antonio Conte is reportedly a ‘fan’ of Wolves winger Adama Traore. Nuno Espirito Santo wanted Tottenham to sign him in the summer, but Conte is keen on going one further – and Spurs fans have reacted to the reports.

Traore, 25, is struggling to find his best form under Bruno Lage. The Portuguese gaffer’s pragmatic style of play, which has seen Wolves score just two goals in their last eight Premier League games, is not suiting Traore.

The Telegraph claim this week, that Conte is a big fan of the Spain international. Of course, Nuno tried to sign him in the summer – with Spurs offering an initial loan. Conte wants Spurs to table an offer that ‘makes Wolves think’.

Indeed, Traore has entered the last 18 months of his contract at Molineux. If the ex-Barcelona and Middlesbrough star is unwilling to put pen to paper, then Wolves have two windows in which they can get a decent fee for him.

ESPN even claim that their price tag has already been reduced – with the Midlands outfit now ready to accept £18million for the powerhouse. A much smaller price than the previously touted £40million figure.

What do Tottenham fans think of Conte stance on Wolves ace Traore?

Tottenham obviously have options out wide. Conte has settled on Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura, either side of Harry Kane. In a 3-5-2, Son plays up top with Kane and Lucas is the one who makes way.

Steven Bergwijn scored on Wednesday, Bryan Gil is a new signing. Dele Alli and Gio Lo Celso can do a job in those roles. But Traore offers something completely different to any of the aforementioned.

At £18million, many will think he is a bargain – given he is not being utilised to fullest extent at Wolves. Many Tottenham fans discussed Conte potentially going after Traore, and have backed a move on Twitter.
