Tottenham have offered Ryan Sessegnon to Fenerbahce. According to CNN Turk, the player is valued at £15 million by Spurs and it would appear they want rid of him.

Sessegnon has been on the bench for two of Tottenham’s three games so far this season. He hasn’t managed to get on the pitch though and his time at Tottenham has proved a bit of a disaster.

He arrived for £25 million in 2019 when Mauricio Pochettino was still in charge at the club. Sessegnon has made just 14 appearances, scoring once and claiming one assist.

Sessegnon made 120 appearances for Fulham, scoring 25 goals and registering 18 assists during his time at Craven Cottage. He was expected to really kick on at Tottenham but that’s not been the case.

ULTIMATE XI Of Players Signed This Summer

With Nuno Espirito Santo favouring wing-backs, it was anticipated that Sessegnon might be perfect. He’s not called upon him in the Premier League though and his future at the club looks bleak.

Last season, the versatile left-sided player spent the campaign on loan with Hoffenheim. He scored twice and claimed three assists during 29 appearances.

Sessegnon earns £53,000-a-week at Spurs and his time at the club could be coming to a close.

What have Tottenham fans said about Sessegnon potentially leaving?

It would seem as though some fans are divided over this potential deal. On one hand, some think a loan could do his development the world of good, whilst others think the club would be foolish to get rid of him.

There is no denying that Sessegnon has bags of potential but ultimately, he has to be playing regular football if he is to develop properly as a player.

It does seem unlikely that Espirito Santo will hand him many chances during 2021/22 and perhaps if the advances from Fenerbahce were over a loan it might be ideal.

Here is what some Tottenham fans have been saying on Twitter regarding the news surrounding Sessegnon.
