A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports which have claimed that Spurs are one of the Premier League sides to have been contacted by Barcelona and offered the chance to sign Philippe Coutinho.
It is little surprise to see Barca try and offload the Brazilian ahead of the January transfer window. The 29-year-old continues to somewhat toil in Catalonia. He has not actually completed 90 minutes in La Liga this season.

City want another £5 million for the forward. And with that in mind, Barca are looking to trim their squad. Coutinho is one of those who has been offered out. Spurs and Newcastle have reportedly been contacted.

It is certainly not the first time Tottenham have been linked with the former Liverpool man this season. In fact, it was suggested a few months ago that Fabio Paratici planned to target the £163,000-a-week star should Spurs end up selling Harry Kane.
Kane remains in North London. And perhaps Coutinho could soon join him. Certainly, the reports have prompted a strong reaction on social media.

With that in mind, here is what some of the fans make of the links with Coutinho…
