Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in a move to sign Philippe Coutinho this summer as he remains surplus to requirements at Barcelona – and Spurs fans have discussed the idea of including Tanguy Ndombele in a swap deal.
Ndombele, 22, has struggled at Tottenham since his club-record move to the north London club. Given a fair crack at the whip under Mauricio Pochettino, the France international has struggled since Jose Mourinho has taken charge.
Indeed, Mourinho publicly slated the former Lyon ace in the media after a 1-1 draw with Burnley at Turf Moor – in which Mourinho hauled off the midfielder at half-time. Much debate has been had over whether Ndombele has a future at Spurs.
Certainly, while Mourinho is in charge, it seems unlikely that Ndombele has a chance of impressing in a Lilywhite shirt. Meanwhile, The Mirror claim Spurs want Coutinho but face plenty of Premier League competition.
Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham are all said to have made enquiries to sign the Brazil international, who has spent the 2019-20 campaign on the fringes of the Bayern Munich squad. He has a £100million asking price (Mirror).
Likely to leave in the summer, Coutinho could be on his way to England with north London an real possibility given Arsenal and Tottenham are keen. Spurs fans discussed signing Coutinho, and many would be happy to see Ndombele go the other way.
In a heartbeat if it was a permanent deal.

Why all the nos ???? He wasn’t a Jose purchase and he’s mugged of fans clearly making no huge effort to get fit …it’s certainly worth thinking about especially if we get our money back
