Tottenham are reportedly interested in Valencia midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have reacted positively to the speculation and would like to see him join.
Sky Sports claims that Spurs remain interested in Kondogbia, who has been on the radar of the club’s chief scout Steve Hitchen for a long time.
It is explained that the 27-year-old has been monitored this season and is a potential target for the summer, with manager Jose Mourinho seeking a defensive midfielder in the next transfer window.
The report adds that English top-flight side Everton have been eyeing the La Liga star.
Kondogbia has scored two goals in 24 appearances across all competitions this season for Valencia, but he’s in the team as an enforcer in the centre of the park.
He is a left-footed ace that is an agile dribbler and can pick a pass, but likes to break up play in front of the defence and make interceptions

A selection of Spurs supporters on social media have responded to the Kondogbia rumours and believe he ticks a lot of boxes for them as a target.
He is a defensive midfielder that would add some extra steel to the options alongside ball-players such as Harry Winks, Oliver Skipp and Giovani Lo Celso.
