Tottenham defender Sergio Reguilon is reportedly set to miss the next three weeks through injury – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter have given a furious response to the update.
According to the Evening Standard, the 24-year-old will be missing from Thursday night’s Premier League fixture with Liverpool.
The report explains that the £48,000-a-week left-back could miss three weeks due to a muscle injury.
It means that the Spain international could be absent from league matches with Liverpool, Brighton, Chelsea, West Brom, Manchester City, as well as the FA Cup fifth round tie with Everton.
Ben Davies is believed to be an injury doubt tonight against Liverpool too, meaning Spurs are without a recognised left-back.
Spurs manager Jose Mourinho could perhaps look to put young centre-back Japhet Tangaga at left-back, but whoever plays is likely to be up against Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.

A selection of Spurs supporters on social media feel that Reguilon’s absence will be a significant blow.
The attack-minded left-back is so often a great outlet for the North London club and he’s got five assists in 20 appearances this season in all competitions, but the manager may need to find a solution without him in the short-term.
