Tottenham fans comment on Cameron Carter-Vickers amid exit reports

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to discuss Cameron Carter-Vickers’s future amid reports from the Sunday People (26/1; page 49) suggesting that four clubs want him.

It would be no surprise to see Carter-Vickers leave Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before the January window closes.

The American international spent the first-half of the season on loan at Stoke City. However, the Sunday People reported that he was sent back to Spurs after failing to impress Michael O’Neill.

Despite those struggles however, he is attracting a lot of attention. The Sunday People (26/1; page 49) reports that Derby County, Huddersfield Town, Fulham and Middlesbrough all want the 22-year-old.

And judging by the reaction on social media, it would appear that many Spurs fans would have no problem in seeing him leave.

From the outside, it looks incredibly unlikely that Carter-Vickers will make the grade at Tottenham. He made his most recent appearance for Spurs three years ago yesterday.

And some do not believe that the club should be willing to loan him out. Instead, they have suggested that he needs to be sold permanently.

In fact, a couple of fans admitted that they had no idea that he was still attached to the club. They thought that he had been sold some time ago.

Here is what some of the supporters make of Carter-Vickers’s future amid reports he could leave on loan once again…
