Tottenham youngster Dane Scarlett produced an attacking masterclass on Tuesday – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter were blown away by his performance.
Despite giving away a two-goal lead, Spurs’ Under-18s side produced a great comeback display to beat Newport County 6-2 in the FA Youth Cup at Hotspur Way.
The star of the show was undoubtedly 16-year-old forward Scarlett. The youngster put his name up in lights by remarkably scoring five goals.
It was the first time that the Under-18s were in action since 19 December and that may have explained a slow start.
But they found their rhythm as the game progressed and one individual had their fanbase talking on social media.

Scarlett is a highly-rated talent coming through the ranks at the Spurs academy and he’s proving he’s a goal machine.
The 16-year-old has already made his first-team debut, with senior boss Jose Mourinho handing him a late appearance in the Europa League group stages against Ludogorets back in November.
He’s scored 13 goals in 10 Under-18 Premier League matches this season, while on Tuesday he showed his clinical touch with a variety of different finishes against Newport.
The teenager won’t find a better role model that current Spurs attacker Kane, who went on a journey from the academy to England captain.
