Tottenham Hotspur have been credited with an interest in Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Albania international is a potential option for Spurs this summer, with Hugo Lloris turning 33 later this year.

The Albania international has been in impressive form over the past couple of years and is believed to covet a move to the Premier League.
Spurs’ bitter rivals Arsenal are also named by Gazzetta as being interested in the 24-year-old, meaning a transfer battle could be set to take place.
Apparently Lazio would rather not sell, but their resolve could be tested if either club lodged a bid of €25 million (£22 million).

Arguably Spurs have a greater need for someone like Strakosha, given Lloris’ age.
The Frenchman has also made a few high profile mistakes over the past couple of years, suggesting he could be in decline.
It would be unsurprising to see them push harder for the Athens-born stopper, but the reports haven’t really gone down all that well with some fans.
Tottenham fans react
A number of Spurs fans are more open to seeing Paulo Gazzaniga get a chance between the sticks rather than Strakosha come in.

The popular Argentine did a great job deputising for Lloris last term, and many believe he deserves a show of faith from manager Mauricio Pochettino:
