Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth has revealed he has downloaded a phone application called Wyscout, which helps him to analyse upcoming opponents.
The 21-year-old is apparently giving himself the best chance of playing to his maximum by learning as much as he can about who he is due to face.
The Argentina international, who is currently on Copa America duty, made the revelation to Clarin Sports following a recent victory over Venezuela.
He said: “I downloaded an application to the cell phone, and always before the games, I start to see, review and investigate the forwards that I have to face. And this time I did the same.
“It’s an application called Wyscout, it was passed to me by my representative, you have to pay to access the content, payment exclusively to analyse the rivals.
“You put the name of a player and there all the information appears, his best moves. And there I try to analyse who I have to face, their characteristics.”
Foyth – who earns £21,500-a-week (Spotrac) – is starting to impress Spurs fans after joining the club from Estudiantes in 2017.
The versatile defender filled in on a number of occasions last term for the likes of Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Davinson Sanchez, and even deputised at right-back.

Poch did brilliantly to sign him. Clearly this kid is eager to improve his game. Working under Poch who also played defender, fellow Argentine, manager who works great with youth, I can’t wait to see how Foyth develops in the future. But ya stop playing him at RB
