Maurizio Sarri could be back on the radar for Tottenham as the north London club continue their hunt for a new manager.
According to Il Messaggero, the free agent coach is yet to agree to take over as manager of Lazio following this weekend’s news that Antonio Conte had rejected a proposal from Tottenham.

As per the report, the former Chelsea head coach has seemingly had his head swayed by the news. Furthermore, Lazio have failed to get in contact with Sarri, putting his move to the Roman club in doubt.
Indeed, the Serie A side are keen to appoint the former Napoi manager. Laizo recently lost long-term head coach Simone Inzaghi to Inter Milan after Conte left the Italian champions.
Spurs are seeking for a new manager to replace Jose Mourinho, who faced the chop from the club almost six weeks ago. Ryan Mason has been in interim charge since, with the former Tottenham midfielder losing the League Cup final.

Indeed, the north London side have been linked with plenty of managers, yet none have yet to put pen to paper to join the club.
Sarri is wanted by some Tottenham fans

The Premier League giants also achieved a top-four finished under the Italian manager. Sarri left for Juventus after one year with the club.
