Tottenham Hotspur take on Manchester United at Old Trafford on Wednesday night which sees the return of Jose Mourinho at his former club – and Spurs fans have urged the Portuguese boss to start Tanguy Ndombele in midfield.
Mourinho has hit the ground running at Spurs, winning all three of his opening matches in charge. He has seen his side scored 10 goals in total against West Ham, Olympiacos and Bournemouth – though they have conceded six times.
The appointment of the former Real Madrid and Chelsea boss has also seen Dele Alli return to his very best, while Toby Alderweireld looks more committed to Spurs than ever despite his current contract situation.

Ndombele, 22, joined Spurs in the summer from Lyon for a club-record fee but he has been used sparingly by Mourinho in his opening three games. Just seven minutes against Olympiacos came after failing to make the Spurs’ 18 against West Ham.
Injury prevented him from selection and the France international was given his first start under Mourinho against Bournemouth. He lasted 74 minutes, and now it remains to be seen whether he will retain his place against Man United.
Many Spurs fans have urged Mourinho to start the central midfielder, after he came in to the starting line-up for Harry Winks. It saw Ndombele and Dele Alli play ahead of Eric Dier who was used as a pivot. Spurs fans want Ndombele from the start.
