Tottenham fans angry with PSG targeting Serge Aurier

Tottenham defender Serge Aurier is reportedly attracting interest from teams in Ligue 1 – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are not pleased with the speculation.

The Sun reports that PSG are among the clubs in France that are keen on a potential swoop for Aurier this summer.

It is understood that the 26-year-old could be available at the “right price” and that manager Mauricio Pochettino is open to selling him.

The report explains that the North London club will want to bring in a replacement full-back on loan before the window shuts on Thursday.

Spurs have already allowed Kieran Trippier to depart this summer, leaving a gap in their options  at full-back.

Aurier would be another right-back to depart if PSG ramp up their interest in him, and he was previously on the books with the French heavyweights.

The African played just 17 senior games across all competitions last season, as injuries and mixed form halted his progress.

A selection of Spurs supporters on social media don’t want to see Aurier sold so late in the summer window, as he could leave quite a void.

Spurs reportedly want a full-back signed on loan if Aurier leaves, but aside from that it would be up to young pair Kyle Walker-Peters and Juan Foyth.
