Mohammed Kudus had a strong afternoon at the AMEX Stadium and Tottenham Hotspur fans were loving what he kept doing to Brighton’s defence.
Richarlison and a Jan Paul van Hecke own goal allowed Tottenham Hotspur to come back from 2-0 to rescue a point on the South Coast.
Mohammed Kudus assisted both goals as the Ghanaian winger produced two moments of magic to prevent Spurs from slipping to defeat.
During the match, Spurs supporters had plenty to say about the performance of the 24-year-old as he continues to show why the North London club wanted him.

Mohammed Kudus kept ‘beating his man’ during Brighton 2-2 Tottenham
Tottenham supporters have been hailing the way Kudus kept ‘beating his man’ during their team’s 2-2 draw with Brighton and Hove Albion.
Kudus, who cost Tottenham £55m, produced two assists during the game in a match where everything Spurs did well came through him.
Recently, Dominic Solanke backed Kudus to shine for Tottenham, and the winger certainly proved him right, as he played a key role in rescuing a point.

Kudus completed six dribbles against the Seagulls, which was by far the highest of any player on the pitch at the AMEX Stadium.
His assist for Brighton’s own goal was a real peach of a delivery and caused mayhem in the hosts’ penalty area, which forced the ball in.
Spurs fans have now taken to social media to praise the winger and are all hailing him for causing Brighton defender Ferdi Kadioglu a tricky afternoon.
One fan said: “Kudus didn’t lose the ball once.”
“Kudus is so powerful. His take-ons are too good. He stressed Brighton’s Kadioglu so much,” added another.
There was further praise for the Spurs forward, with another fan stating: “I can’t count the number of times Kudus has beaten his man today.”
Finally, another stated: “Kudus has been the definition of earning the right to play today. Grafted, tussled and eventually came out on top.”
There is still a sense though that Thomas Frank’s team and Kudus could have come away with more had the winger produced a better final product at times.
But overall, his display was really encouraging for the North London club and just highlights how Spurs managed to get one of the best signings of the summer.
Xavi Simons looked very good in different role vs Brighton
The other key positive for Tottenham was the cameo off the bench from Xavi Simons, who looked very good in a different role against Brighton.
Frank opted to rest the 22-year-old from the start on the South Coast as he dropped to the bench, but after coming on, he tipped the game in Spurs’ favour.

Simons struggled on the left against Villarreal, but against Brighton, he was used more in a central role, and the forward looked quite promising.
Frank needs to find a way to get Simons into a more central position moving forward, following his impressive cameo.
