Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly set their sights on Genoa defender Radu Dragusin.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Spurs are one of several Premier League teams eyeing the 21-year-old centre-back.
As well as Tottenham, the likes of Newcastle and Brighton are also in pursuit of Dragusin, who has already won nine caps for Romania.
Spurs could certainly do with bolstering their defensive ranks in wake of what happened against Chelsea and Wolves.
In the loss to the Blues, Micky van de Ven was injured and Cristian Romero was sent off, and neither was available for the following game.

The drop-off in quality at the back was noticeable in the last game before the international break, which Spurs also lost.
With that in mind, Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou will likely want to increase his strength in depth during the January transfer window and beyond.
Tottenham target ‘really wants to reach England’
Dragusin is a decent shout for Spurs. He is a very talented young player who has been doing well for Genoa in Serie A and looks like he has a high ceiling.
Goal.com named the youngster in their 2021 NxGn list, at number 45. The same outlet – albeit another article – labelled him the ‘Romanian Van Dijk’.
The nine-cap Romania international is strong in the air, comfortable with the ball at his feet, and possesses strong energy levels.
Better still for Tottenham, Dragusin’s mother previously told Romanian outlet AS that her son’s “childhood dream” is to play in the Premier League.
Svetlana Dragusin was asked by the reporter what her hopes were in terms of her son’s footballing career.
“I wish for him to reach where he set out to,” she said. “And he really wants to reach England. This is his childhood dream.”
Dragusin reportedly has a £25million price tag (Calciomercato), which is very affordable for a leading Premier League club like Spurs.
