With less than two weeks before Tottenham start their Premier League season at home to Aston Villa, boss Mauricio Pochettino may be left with an issue at right-back.
Spurs have offloaded Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid and suddenly they look lightweight in the full-back area.
Defender Serge Aurier has undergone surgery on a hand injury sustained at the Africa Cup of Nations (official website) and has not been with the group for pre-season, as he takes part in non-contact training.
Meanwhile, Juan Foyth was stretchered off on Wednesday during the penalty win over Bayern Munich in the Audi Cup final.
The versatile defender appears to have been moulded into a right-back by Pochettino, but his ankle injury blow didn’t look great and the club now have to wait for an update on him.
Whether Aurier or Foyth will be available for Villa remains to be seen, but neither have been regular starters for Spurs in the past and right-back looks a problem.

Spurs youngster Kyle Walker-Peters looks the most likely solution if the duo are unavailable and he may be granted a golden chance.
The 22-year-old has the potential to step into the XI for the first day of the season and solve a problem for Pochettino.
Walker-Peters played only 10 senior games across all competitions last season, but is a big talent to come out of the academy and may be ready for regular first-team minutes.
The English right-back should see it as a golden opportunity if he is in the first starting XI of the Premier League season and be looking to nail down the position, as it certainly looks up for grabs for someone.
He’s shown there is an attacking side of his game that can be useful, something that should be on show against newly-promoted Villa.
Pochettino could have another success story out of the academy if Walker-Peters switches on defensively and there are experienced centre-backs in the middle of defence to guide him.
