Tottenham will go in search of some new recruits during the summer having not signed a player since January 2018.
Mauricio Pochettino’s team will embark on the first full campaign inside their new stadium and the arrivals will need to match the quality of the facility.
Spurs reached the Champions League Final during 2018/19 and the next challenge for Pochettino is to challenge for regular silverware.
One man who could be a decent acquisition for Tottenham is Real Madrid outcast, Dani Ceballos.
The 22-year-0ld highlighted his quality last night, scoring a magnificent goal in a 3-1 defeat for Spain Under-21s against Italy.
His stunning curling effort wasn’t enough to ensure a positive result for the Spaniards but Ceballos had a decent game.
The Sun has reported that the midfielder could be available for £18 million this summer and that would represent quality business for Spurs.
Midfield reinforcements would be ideal for Pochettino. His team has looked somewhat lightweight in the middle of the park since losing Moussa Dembele in January.
Ceballos is a different type of midfield player to that of the former Spurs man, but he’d be a perfect addition to Tottenham’s team.
At 22-years-old he would fit in with the ethos of a youth Tottenham side, whilst there is still plenty of time for him to improve.
With his club putting a relatively low valuation on their player, Spurs would be wise to pounce on a player who could take the Premier League by storm.
