Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Chelsea star N’Golo Kante in recent days.
According to Footmercato, the France international has been offered to Spurs, as well as Arsenal.
Kante’s contract expires at the end of the season, and the report suggests he could leave on a free transfer.

In addition, the 31-year-old apparently wants to stay put in London, which is where Tottenham come in.
Spurs – as well as Arsenal – ‘are the London clubs with the most ambition on the national and European scene’.
In addition, Kante is said to be uninterested in joining Paris Saint-Germain.
‘A driving force within the team’
An interesting rumour, and not a particularly unrealistic one either.
Kante has struggled with injury as of late, and has made just two appearances for Chelsea this season.
He is also on a reported £290,000-a-week, and he turns 32 in March.
All things considered, you could understand why the Blues may be unwilling to renew his contract.
Kante has been one of the world’s best midfielders in the past few years.
And as well as being a top talent, he is a popular figure in the dressing room – for club and country.
In June 2021, Tottenham and France captain Hugo Lloris sung Kante’s praises.
“In squad life, he is true to himself, he has his personality, he is really appreciated by everyone,” Onefootball quotes him as saying.
“As a player, his professionalism, his qualities, his talent as a recoverer…
“He’s capable of doing everything, of adapting to the coach’s instructions in relation to the needs of the team.

“He can evolve in different functions in the midfield. He is a driving force within the team.
“Mediatically, we are more focused on other players.
“In modern football, we often put forward attacking players, but a player like NG has a very important place in the France team.”
However, Tottenham don’t really need a holding midfielder at present.
They have Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Rodrigo Bentancur, Yves Bissouma and Oliver Skipp.
A playmaker is more of a pressing concern for Spurs in the next transfer window or two.
Given his current salary, recent injury record and age, it remains to be seen whether Tottenham would be willing to add Kante to their ranks.
