Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Besiktas prodigy Semih Kilicsoy over the past few weeks.
For instance, Fanatik reported in January that Spurs had set their sights on the 18-year-old forward.
More recently, A Spor claimed that Tottenham are one of several clubs that have begun sending scouts to watch Kilicsoy in action.
A new report has now named Besiktas’ valuation of their player and how much Spurs – or other suitors – could expect to pay for him.
According to the Turkiye newspaper, the Turkish giants are expecting a fee in the region of €50million – around £43million – for Kilicsoy.
In addition, the player is ‘getting ready to fly away at the end of the season’, with the club seemingly prepared to cash in on him.

Tottenham target Semih Kilicsoy likened to Gerd Muller and Sergio Aguero
Although Tottenham recently brought in a new forward in Timo Werner, there’s certainly scope for more reinforcements at the end of the season.
This would especially be the case when you’re talking about yet another outstanding young talent who could well follow in Arda Guler’s footsteps.
For an 18-year-old player to be ‘the only name that made people smile’ during a poor season for Besiktas, it shows what a top talent he is.
He has eight goals and one assist from 13 Superlig outings, and a further goal in the Europa Conference League qualifiers.
In January, Besiktas academy director Mehmet Eksi told Hurriyet: “As infrastructure teachers, we compare Semih to [Germany legend] Gerd Muller.
“Some compared him to [Sergio] Aguero. He also sees Aguero as his idol.”
Eksi also said Kilicsoy controls the ball “very well, and uses his body very well by getting between the ball and the opponent. Very fast over short distances.
“He plays in three areas – right winger, left winger and centre-forward. He also plays behind the striker very well.”
Admittedly, £43million is a big price tag for such a young and relatively unproven player, so Spurs will likely look to negotiate a lower fee and different structure.
But considering Tottenham have struck gold in recent years with regards to signing top talents – and beating the likes of Bayern Munich and Barcelona to them – they’ll fancy their chances of getting this over the line if they really want him.
