Tottenham Hotspur have been the busiest team in the Premier League during this January transfer window, and they’re not finished yet.
Indeed, Spurs are still being linked with a number of players including Antonio Nusa and Conor Gallagher.
The Nusa deal seems to be progressing well, but, sadly, the same can’t be said for Gallagher’s proposed move to Spurs.
However, while the Gallagher deal may not happen, there’s another midfielder who could end up joining Tottenham this month.
Indeed, speaking on Last Word on Spurs, Ben Jacobs has named 18-year-old MLS star Noel Buck as a player Spurs could sign, claiming that it’s not impossible for a deal to come to fruition.

Buck could join Tottenham
Jacobs shared what he knows about the young midfielder.
“Kasey McAteer at Leicester, I have mentioned him before, that could grow legs. Noel Buck isn’t impossible. He’s currently at New England Revolution, Tottenham’s interest is historical so if they are to reignite that they will have to move rather than continue anything ongoing, but the fee there is quite cheap, only £5-6m,” Jacobs said.
One for the future
While Spurs were looking at potential midfield additions to strengthen their squad this month, Buck would certainly be one for the future.
At the age of just 18, this young man is far from the finished product, and it’s unlikely that he’d come straight from MLS into Spurs’ first-team.
However, that isn’t to say that he isn’t a talented player.
He’s already making a big impression over in the US, and the fact that he’d command a £6m fee at his age from a league that very rarely sells players for big money is a testament to his talent.
Don’t be shocked if Buck makes some sort of impact in the Premier League over the next few years, because he looks like a very talented young player to say the least.
