Tottenham Hotspur are heading into a new era under Thomas Frank and they will be looking to bolster their squad this summer.
After finishing 17th last season, Tottenham desperately need reinforcements, and there are a few interesting targets on Spurs’ radar right now.
Tottenham are keen on Jarrad Branthwaite, while Eberechi Eze has been linked to Spurs too.
However, perhaps the most interesting transfer story coming out of Tottenham in recent times has been regarding Antoine Semenyo.
Indeed, Daniel Levy has directly spoken to Semenyo’s agents about a move in recent times, and this could be a double whammy of a signing as not only will it strengthen Tottenham but it would also cause a bit of frustration across north London at Arsenal.

Why Arsenal may be gutted to see Antoine Semenyo join Tottenham
Semenyo could be headed to Tottenham this summer, and this is a move that may leave Arsenal feeling sick.
Indeed, Arsenal have been interested in Semenyo as of late as they look to add more depth in their wide areas.
Not only that, Arsenal could’ve had the winger years ago as Semenyo did a trial at Arsenal before he even made a name for himself.
“It starts from 16 to be honest. I had my last trial at Crystal Palace. My first trial was at 12 or 13, during those 12 to 16 years I went everywhere,” Semenyo said.
“I went to Arsenal, I went to Fulham, I went to Palace, I went to Millwall four or five times. I went to so many teams.”
Arsenal passed up on Semenyo as a youngster, and now he could be set for a big-money move to their biggest rivals.
Semenyo is an ‘underrated’ player who could make a huge impact at Spurs next season.
Other stars rejected by Arsenal
Semenyo could be set to join Tottenham years on from being rejected by Arsenal.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Arsenal have missed out on a very talented player after giving them a trial at a young age.
Stars who Arsenal rejected
Eberechi Eze
Ruud Gullit
Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Yaya Toure
Federico Valverde
Eberechi Eze was famously released by Arsenal as a youngster, Yaya Toure had a trial at Arsenal in his youth, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic has a similar story to tell.
Federico Valverde also thought he was signing for Arsenal at one point.
Most frustratingly, Ruud Gullit was on trial at Arsenal at one point, but the Gunners didn’t manage to sign him permanently.
So many players over the years have become stars after spending a short amount of time on Arsenal’s books, and Semenyo could be set to do the exact same thing again here.
