Tottenham complete Lloris transfer
Lyon have confirmed that goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has joined Tottenham on a four-year deal for £7.9 million.
The fee could rise to £11.9m – and the Ligue 1 side also say they are entitled to 20% of profit should he leave White Hart Lane.
Lloris, who is the France captain and has 38 caps to his name, joined Lyon in 2008 from Nice and made 144 league appearances.
The deal had looked to be in doubt earlier in the day after the Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas accused Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy of moving the goalposts and said negotiations were the hardest of his 25 years at the top.
Spurs have been linked with a move for Lloris all summer and finally managed to get the deal over the line before the transfer window closed.
