‘Get it done’: Tottenham fans react to reports that Christian Eriksen is to be offered new deal

Tottenham kicked-off their 2019/20 Premier League campaign with a 3-1 win over Aston Villa at the weekend.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men trailed for large parts of the contest but won the day thanks to a Harry Kane brace and a debut Tanguy Ndombele goal.

Christian Eriksen has been linked with a move away from Tottenham all summer long and came off the bench to contribute to Saturday’s win.

The Dane is out of contract next summer and could leave for free.

According to the Daily Mail, Spurs are now trying to keep Eriksen by offering him £200,000-a-week to say at the club.

The new package which is reportedly on offer would more than double his current £80,000-a-week current package.

Eriksen has been a revelation for Tottenham since arriving in 2013. He has scored 49 goals and registered 64 assists in 2017 appearances for the club.

Tottenham would surely love to keep the 27-year-old around the club and losing him for free would be an unthinkable situation for Spurs.

Eriksen has 89 caps for his country and he is a firm fan favourite with the North London-based club.
